The Blue Pinwheel Collar is part of a series of stitched neck pieces constructed from hand-painted paste papers . Using pre-pierced holes, the paper is stitched into three-dimensional hollow fin shapes, that are then connected to a central band. The fins flap back and forth providing movement to the piece. This collar is 12″ diameter and 1.75″ wide. It has a sterling silver hook and eye clasp.
