Rolling PinDemic illustrates the churning emotions that rippled through the world during the beginning years of COVID. Just when we thought the vaccine was going to be a universal cure-all, the disease began to mutate, and full, vibrant lives were again thinned and flattened. This paper sculpture captures the emotional cycle — optimism to pessimism and back to optimism — knowing that another wave is likely to come. (22”w x 5.5″diam.)
